Another weekly jam project from a course in the game design program I took. We were given the theme of "Match 3" and I was interested in making a game that rewarded skill progress for matches that could somehow be used to win a subgame.

As the player makes matches by clicking and dragging tiles in the left-hand panel, their warrior and the opponent's warrior will strike at each other with attributes (like speed and damage) can be increased by matching the corresponding tiles.

It was fun developing the opponent's AI for selecting matches, and I am pleased with how the player's choice of types of tiles to match has a palpable effect on their success in the battle.

Some UI issues involving screen size that I would like to address eventually.
